You are probably getting tired of hearing about our Centennial Celebration, but, you know, I really want to share every minute of it with you!
Hang in there… we’re almost back to everyday life…
One present I wanted to share, besides Red Dirt in My Soul, is the framed photo I gave to Johnny.
A couple months ago, I was contacted by an old friend…
We had shared the early years of our 3 kids apiece with each other…
We had gone to craft fairs together…
We had a good time as young mothers can!
But then she moved away… and a few Christmas cards later… we lost touch.
The Internet is a wonderful tool, for she found me again.
This is her work.
Look closely and you’ll see GREET RANCH spelled out in photographs of antique equipment, gates, found objects, branding irons, etc.
It is amazingly cool, creative, and beautifully rustic!
She also managed a shot of the bucking horse… Wyoming’s infamous symbol.
I love it.
So does Johnny.
And if you need a unique family gift… go to her website http://jtsabcs-jan.blogspot.com/ look at her examples… ours is there… and order one!
You’ll be happy and so will the recipient… if you can bear to give it away…
Otherwise people with ask why you have SMITH on your wall when your name is COOPER…
