Well, this will be the last time I take a “formal” portrait of this litter. The rest of the photos will be adventurous and candid photos… enjoying them the last week they’ll be here. The time has gone extremely fast… and I’m finding myself behind on many of the typical chores I do for them.
I didn’t get the time either to finish up their video. Today Vernon and I hauled 2 pickup loads of split firewood to neighbors. HO HO HO! The Mills, G. and D., who sold us the Mills place and by the way, own one of my pups, Kay. She’s a pretty pretty dog, built like Elsa, but colored like Lucas.
We also took a load to Uncle G. who is 96 years young. He is Johnny’s oldest brother. He lives alone in his house (with daughter close by). A little hard of hearing and needing to use a large screen to read his mail and newspaper by, he still splits his own wood for his woodstove. He pays his bills in a fairly steady hand. He was thrilled we’d renewed his woodpile!
But let’s begin, shall we?
