Change
While looking for Boomer, I made a pass through the junkpile at the Mills Place... and of course, couldn't resist taking a few quick snaps of my favorite vehicles.
Would someone please tell the Cherokee Ranch of Rawlins, Wyoming... uh... we have your truck...

This Standard Oil Truck is a good 'un. Do trucks still say INFLAMMABLE? I don't think so... isn't it FLAMMABLE? I'll have to pay better attention! The reflectors on this truck are AWESOME...

They are red marbles. Now THAT was thinking...

I like this shot...
But I like it in COLOR too!

Hmmmm... contemplate the sights seen through this windshield... It makes me wonder... How much has *really* changed?

No sign of Boomer.
Thanks for your continued prayers for the little black Aussie!

Oh Carole....my heart aches for you. I know that wherever he is, Boomer is missing you.

Love the pics of your old truck collection! How's grandpa Greet's old Chevy standing up to the elements next to the bunkhouse?
I notice that you named one of your dogs Pearl. The Greet connection to Pearl harbor is Arthur Smith. He was on board the USS California Dec 7, 1941. He once told of how he went over the side and swam for Ford Island on that day when the California went down. Later during the WWII he married Marjorie Greet a daughter of Frank Greet a founder of the Greet Ranch. They had four children and were lifetime partners.

Don't you just love the "character" these old vehicles have? They just speak of a whole different era. I really liked your photos. Yeah, that tail light with red marbles was interesting! I hope you find Boomer alright. (Or Boomer finds you.)
