I gotta brag (again).
My photo of the storm cloud that hit Ten Sleep made the front page of the local paper.
Of course, I sent it to them...
and the National Weather Service as well.
But they chose to use it!
What else have we been doing?
Working on the bathroom and mudroom at the Mills Place...
I'm tickled with our cheapskate idea for our mudroom cabinets. We bought some inexpensive, on sale, laminate floor tile and are mounting it on OSB for our countertop.
I'll take some scrap pieces and use it for a backsplash as well. It's tough, easy to clean, and will handle mudroom conditions quite well! Plus, I didn't have to drive 4 hours to Billings to get a countertop, or pay the shipping to order one in Worland or online. I'll edge it with some decorative molding and voila! spiffy countertop!
It's cowboying tomorrow... so stay tuned for that, plus our annual Labor Day preg testing on Saturday. Shipping on Sunday morning.
It's also the first week of September (already), that means it's time for Questions and Answers! Here's your chance... post your question in the comment section and I'll answer them as best I can on Tuesday!
Smart idea. One more thing. Easy to change when the need arises.
How bout inviting me to learn how to preg test. That is all I want Santa to bring me, but he is having a tough time.

I have only been reading for about 4-5 months and was wondering about the "Mills Place" that you are working on. Are you moving to it when it's finished and how far is it from your current home? LOVED the wedding pictures!!!

Hey! I have a question about branding. When you sell a cow with your brand (or buy one with another ranch's), do they get a second brand? Or you just know that they are yours?

Love the idea of the countertop... and it looks great. Same question as Gina had, what are your plans for the "Mills Place"?
We had a black storm cloud come thru yesterday around here and I got a pic of that too.. they look as powerful don't they?
We are going to vet check our cows too next week... all two of them!!!!

Congrats on the photo in the paper!! Love the countertop idea. That's just the kind of thing I was needing, but didn't think of.
