Raisin' a Little
RAIN!

HONESTLY!
A nice little rain hit last night and most of today. We probably are lucky if we got .5 inch, but that's enough for Wyoming to sigh with relief... hope wildfire season is over and we might even green up a bit if the nights continue to be on the warm side!
Today I *had* to build a fire in my fireplace though... the dampness and breeze chilled me down since I wasn't working hard. We had plans to go work on the Mills Place, but the guys disappeared until noon... and I finally gave up on them and started on my own plans for the day.
This week is the Harvest Dinner... the big fundraising night for the Ten Sleep Ambulance and the Ten Sleep Library. Last year I donated two huge photographs. This year, I think I'll make 'em a little smaller.
I've chosen three saddle bronc photos from the 4th of July... turned them sepia... and I'll print them off as 5x7's to create a trio of framed prints. Here's hoping I can find premade mats in Worland, Wyoming to accomplish this!

But today, I wanted to choose the last one... The photo of C., he's my favorite bronc rider!, and try my hand at watercolors.
Nice rainy day.
Nice to hide from the water outside and play with water inside!
So...
Ta-da!
I did this today.

I used my flash on that one, the color is more realistic in this one, which is slightly blurry... but between the two you can figure it out!
Couldn't help it... I had to entitle this one "Saddle Bronc Boogie"!
So, I'll finish these up... I may even try to watercolor the other two as well...
Then decide which one goes to which group...
and hope they'll take my donations!
But best of all... try and raise a little $$ for the Library and Ambulance!

Beautiful! If they don't take your donation (and they would be crazy not to), I would glady take it off your hands.
