A Click
I hid inside today...

a day of snow flurries and wind.
If Daniel wasn't here, I'm sure I would have been out in this mess!
I believe I could easily be spoiled!
I wasn't just a slug though, I actually did work a tad bit on my Etsy shop.
YAY!
I've been meaning to do that for a month!
I didn't finish, but I had a good start.
I've simply added more of my pen and ink cards... the ones I used to sell at craft fairs before fairs lost their interest and appeal for me!
It takes a while to get 5 shots of each card... avoiding shadows and glaring light... or as best I could.
Then each gets loaded onto my computer where I resize them.
Next comes the description... what do you say to get people to buy cards you actually WRITE on?
They are simply blank cards without sarcastic, rude, or suggestive writing.
It's getting to be a hard sell!
I have animals...

Native American designs...

Wildflowers...

and Western Christmas...

I have many more to load, but found I can only sit so long at this computer!
Please check back and see if I can be constructive the rest of the week and finish loading them! All it takes is a click on the Etsy link on the left sidebar.
Go for it!

October 26, 2009 Before Summer Gets Away

Wow, drawing is my weakness. I really can appreciate those with talent. In high school I signed up for a art class, by the end of the first week he made me his assistant. I got the supplies from the office. I learn what ever the class was doing after I did what he asked of me. That way he wouldn't have to grade my projects and I could get a good grade. Does that show how bad I am or what. No ill feelings over it. I knew it was a stretch for me and I got a good grade and got to watch students talents grow.

For descriptions, you could describe the paper, the envelope, and the design. What inspired you, what is it, what does it mean, what medium did you use. Many people like blank cards, so that's no drawback to my mind. You could expand a bit on the idea of writing your own message.... a foreign concept to many... lol
