Hey, Lookie, Lookie!

Been meaning to have a day I could post these...

My appliances in my new kitchen!

Now if you've been a follower for a while...

you know we've been remodeling this kitchen for two years as of Thanksgiving.

With the installation of my new appliances, we're just a smidge from being finished!

The little 12" cabinet next to the stove needs a "countertop"... and things need cleaned up, a little curtain needs to be hung... and the kitchen will be ready for food and spices and pots and pans and US!

First meet my new stove.

It comes with 5 burners, quick boil, griddle, 3 oven racks, and off/on convection!

Ain't she purty?

I am excited!

Then there's my mom's HUMONGOUS refrigerator...

This will hold branding dinners and Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners!

Brandon's meager supplies look pitiful inside this TANK!

The dishwasher is installed too...

So...

Hey!

LOOKIE, LOOKIE! from this to this...

In only two years!

Wow! Carol, you are going to enjoy this 'new' house so much! It's beautiful! Not just re-done, but re-done with your own personal touches. Perfect!

Sally, it'll take quite a while still to move in, though I imagine we'll be staying there fairly soon... You and Perry will have to stop!

Wow! Carol, your new kitchen is gorgeous...real pirty!!! Love the way the cabinets and floor pull everything together, too. You are going to love the new stove, bigger fridge, and view over the sink. It's a family project that you should be really proud of!

Marilyn, I can't believe I haven't hauled something up there to cook... I DID boil water on it, just to try it out!

Oh My! Our new stoves are almost twins! I danced around the kitchen with Shelby when mine arrived. The burners work! The oven works! It's easy to clean- I understand your excitement.

Have fun in your new kitchen. Is there a move-in date?

Nancy... I think I'll love this stove too!  That center burner will be great for humongous pots of food I have to cook sometimes!  No move in date... but the new tv is on its way... betcha Vernon will move up there when it gets here!

Oh my! What a beautiful kitchen! One question, is there a vent for the range? I love the range. I want one, too! Way to go with gas - best way to cook, in my opinion.

Linda, nope.  No vent.  Just gonna spread that smell and grease around everywhere!  I have to cook with gas, electric is bad for me... I burn everything!  The convection will be a challenge for a bit!

Oh well. I still love your new kitchen. It looks so open - with plenty of room to move around.

Beautiful! I love your new stove too! I miss having a gas stove. My apartment has electric & I just can't get it to cook the way I need/want it to.

Carol! Your appliances look great! You will love that new oven and range! My mom has one just like it and I think my two favorite things are the griddle on the range and the probe that works in the oven! My dad and I always make a prime rib when I go home to share with family and friends and the probe works wonderfully! Happy New Year!

Beautiful! I have those same 4 light fixtures! Now I will think of you in your new kitchen when I look at them. Our kitchen is in the 20 year-old process of what I call "cascade appliance failure." New dishwasher 6 months ago, new washer/dryer in Jan., new oven CHRISTMAS EVE! My youngest son and I shopped for our new fridge when we were ordering the oven. It's still working, but we are ready when it quits! Oh, and only 2 of the burners on the stove top still light. They are usable, but you have to risk your fingertips. Anyway, ENJOY.
