Wordless Wednesday - "Dirty Bird/Dirty Look"
For this week's Wordless Wednesday...
Pinyon Jays are the bain of my bird feeder... I try to feed the small songbirds... but the large Pinyon Jays can clean out my feeder in minutes! My pitiful attempts to thwart their thievery have failed... dirty birds... I don't think he likes me either!

Sounds like the blackbirds around here. What they don't eat they scatter out of the feeders

Jays always remind me of mobsters--we have one or two here who will take the peanuts my mom gives the squirrels right out from under their little feet. We also have starlings and grackels for nuisance birds. We finally bought a feeder that closes when the heavier birds land on it so that the song birds and other smaller birds get a chance for food.
