Power Outage
I was rushing to finish mowing my lawn before the thunderstorms hit...

I did.
Then they did.
As I walked into the house, it was dark. No power.
Musta been a lightning strike somewhere...
I broke out candles and oil lamps and a lantern.
By 9:30, I couldn't keep my eyes open as we'd been up since 4:30 am.
To bed for me, no way to send out apologies...
But I'll give you a photo this morning... and a regular post tonight.
Anyone know what kind of flower this is?
It is growing wild in my lawn...

I do know this flower--that is I know about it but can't think of the name. If you pull one up, I think you will find a bulb at the end. At home in my garden they spread everywhere. I think they are lovely so always left a few and pulled the rest. the bloom mid spring for a bit then die off. If I come up with a name I will let you know.
