Red Dirt Movies
I think I could make *Monday Movies* all the time.

I find myself filming everything!
I filmed the bulls fighting.
I filmed the puppies.
I filmed moving cattle (again).
I filmed the horses eating!
I believe it's going to be a sickness.
It's quick and easy and enjoyable... so here's my question for you.
"What do *you* want filmed?"
Remember this is supposed to be only about a minute long, so don't ask me to show you how to tear apart the tractor and put it back together...
(Like I could do that! But Vernon can, 'coz I've seen him do it!)
Do you want relaxing nature?
Dogs at work?
Wildlife?
Sunrise?
Horses?
Cowboys at work?
Cattle?
"I've always wanted to"... sit around a campfire? ride a horse? pitch a tipi? (hold it. It takes me a long time to pitch my tipi...)
Anyway, throw out your desires... and I'll see what I can do.
Me and Ron Howard... quality directors of fine motion pictures!
Then we can hold a Monday Movie Film Festival... and do nothing but one minute films! In which case we may have to rename it the One Minute Film Festival and run it for a week, or a month!
Give me some input, and let's discover some RED DIRT together!

In the meantime... don't forget my movies on Vimeo! Just click on the list of movies in the sidebar and investigate previously posted movies (most of which are much longer than one minute!)

Videos- I think if you assume that some of your followers live a life about as far from yours as one can get and still be part of a geographical unit (lobstering in Maine, for example)- that may be a guideline for subjects. In other words- I wanna see anything you case to show me!!

I wanna see all of it. (I know that prob. doesn't help, but it's true.) I guess if I HAD to choose, anything w/dogs/puppies and working cowboys.

Everything you want to photograph and fast moving storm clouds.

The land you see and use every day is simply amazing in its size, emptiness, and beauty. The life you live is exotic to many of us, I imagine. The animals are a huge part of what you do. So all of it is wonderful to see!

How about:
Find a flower out on the range, let's see it blowing in the breeze for a minute of relaxation.
Dogs working would be good but then how about dogs playing when they aren't working any more?
Calves romping?
Cowboy roping/working/saddling.
If the filming doesn't have to be continuous and you can stop the filming then restart we could see some neat stuff. If so, can we watch a storm coming in? Can we see clouds rolling across the sky? How about a calf being born? Trailing and herd goes down the road or across the land out of sight?
Something you take for granted that the rest of us don't get to see. Which is pretty much everything you do every day I'm guessing.
Thanks for the offer to let us send in requests!

I think you are doing a fabulous job with the variety of pictures and stories you create.
I love Western scenery (the skies,
hills, mountains, wide open spaces) - and you always take prize winning pictues of that!
Love anything about horses and the dogs/puppies. The different wildlife and flowers have been very interesting too. And reading everything about a true cattle ranch family has been terrific! So I second everyone else's comments about having more of the same, and anything else your little heart desires to write about.
I especially love the pictures from horseback, or videos of riding on horseback!

My favorites would be video's of the lay of the land. Example...while your riding the open range, perhaps a video scanning the beautiful landscape, far away mountains, streams, rounding up the cattle, etc...anything nature! It takes us city folks to places we may never see and experiences we may never have. PLUS..everything animal!!!
