No Popcorn
Lest you doubted my story of rain yesterday... which continued throughout the night and morning and has recently restarted...
We're almost to 2" of rain... which, by Wyoming terms, is 1/7 of our yearly moisture!
When the clouds lifted this afternoon...
Yup.
No surprise there.
Boy, I'm glad we're not riding today! My opinion on being a Fair Weather Cowboy increases every year!
We managed to dodge this bullet by a couple of miles...
I JUST realized I had promised a video tonight... and, of course, I haven't got one done. It doesn't take long to make a minute movie, but uploading it and having Vimeo process it DOES.
Bummer.
I don't know where my brain was...
perhaps chilled by all this rain???
I'll go do that now... and have it for you for sure tomorrow.

Boy, does that sound familiar, except we had 2 3/4 inches by yesterday morning and it rained off and on most of the day. And our crew finished gathering the cows to pregnancy test just as the rain set in on Wednesday, so they got to be out there enjoying it plenty.
And yep, Chief Mountain's got a shiny new white coat this morning.
*sigh* Here we go again.

Great video, and I think trailing cows quietly is like a piece of art. And, oh my, the beauty of the land...
Q: I'm intrigued by the first picture and would love for you to tell its "story" - did you call the horses and they are waiting to be saddled, or were they on their way to greener grass, or... is there no story because they just happened to be standing around on the road?
Also, have you found the remedy to heal the open sore on Lucas' paw?
