Confused

The morning greeted me with the bad news that my car was stranded INSIDE my garage... evidently the cable had come off the rollers as I shut the garage door last night.

The good news was that I had found out 4 hours before I was due in Worland.

The bad news was that Vernon had to leave RIGHT THEN to go haul some cattle.

The good news was that Daniel could bring the tractor down and lift the heavy door with the hay fork attachment.

The bad news was it would take a while to drive the tractor 4 miles.

The good news was... I had time to clean the kitchen.

The bad news was the clock was a'tickin'!

The good news was when he showed up, it didn't take us long to lift the door, prop it up, drive out my Durango, and then let it back down.

The bad news was the door got all kinked around with the cable and wouldn't close all the way.

The good news is any raccoon or skunk will have a nice garage to hang out in...

Wait.

The bad news is any raccoon or skunk will have a nice garage to hang out in...

The good news was by the time this was all finished, I still had an hour to get ready to go to my appointment in Worland.

The bad news was I had to go to Worland.

The good news is... I's bee u tiful now!  With a haircut and highlights, I'm blonde again.

The bad news is I'm blonde again.

It's always a good excuse.

Or is it bad?

I'm confused.

You HAVE to check out the kid's book "Fortunately" by Remy Charlip. Yes, it's an older book, but one of my favorites for story time and read aloud and it sounds just like your day--but at least you weren't chased by sharks.

LOL It's the blonde, or maybe not. The critters are sure to enjoy that lovely garage. I want to see your new do.
