Tiny and Impressive
I've just arrived back home after our flying trip to Billings to see the twins.
I'm very thankful for a husband and son who can drive and stay up late like this! I'd just get a room myself!
The boys continue to do ok... a few problems, but, for 5 weeks early and being around 5 pounds, pretty good!
Quinlan was just shy of 6 pounds... and you'd kinda think one pound wouldn't make much difference, but my, oh, my... they're TINY!
Thanks for all your well wishes... and if you want to be thankful for someone special this holiday... you might want to put neonatal nurses on that list! They are impressive!

Here I've been impressed at how big those boys are... 5 pounds is great, especially for twins

Mary, thanks... I was proud of Victoria for getting them to 5 pounds, too. It still seems tiny!

Saying my prayers for you all too. My now 15yr daughter was a 5 pounder also. Seemed so tiny, until my now 13yr old was born 1 pound 9 oz @ 24weeks... phew!!, those extra ounces REALLY do count. All is well here now, but Neonatal nurses definitely rock.

Karen... wow... I can't imagine. You see pictures... but until you REALLY see them, it doesn't seem like they could be so small! I'm so happy things have worked out for you and your children!

Congratulations! 5lbs is pretty great, I think! One of my cousins just had twins and they were 3lbs something each, I think. So tiny! One of my sisters just had a boy yesterday and he seems tiny at 8lbs. Hard to imagine how tiny some are.
