Lights of Kaycee

Victoria had a great idea tonight... I should head down to Chris LeDoux's memorial park and take some photos for you guys. I jumped at the chance even though low light photography is a major weakness of mine!

Although the LeDoux family has done a great job with the trees in the park.... There were no actual lights on Chris' statue... Making my abilities stretch to their max!

Chris does happen to be sporting a Santa hat... And, unfortunately, he's virtually impossible to pick out of most of my pics.

Plus the fact I haven't figured out how to attach more than one photo at a time here...

So... While good in theory... I'm afraid this post is lacking in execution!

Enjoy the main street of Kaycee, Wyoming at 9:30 at night!

oh, I so FAIL at low light photos... but the best luck I had was setting this on Auto Scene and using Nighttime Portrait.  Neither Candlelight nor Fireworks handled this job.  The most important thing?  I'd say, use a tripod!  I just used the fence top to rest the camera on and still had many blurry photos.  As far as manual settings... low film speed, and play with the aperture depending on how many lights are in your photo.  I really fail............
