I've been wanting to do this... for my anniversary present... and tonight I actually pushed the button!

It's kind of scary... leaving my old format behind, but soon I'll have been doing this for FIVE, yes, FIVE YEARS!
It was time for some fresh paint!
There's some tweaking to do, but so far, so good.
If I could get this font to stay large, I'd be a happy customer, too... but I've decided GoDaddy just doesn't like Macs!
There's also a new button on the left sidebar I want to point out.
After five years of writing this blog, with one small failed attempt at advertisements on my sidebar, I've decided to try to make some extra money with this blog thing! Now, I've sold calendars and mugs and some photographs, but this is different. I'm now a Sierra Trading Post affiliate!

I really like the new header. Maybe you can do a seasonal picture now. OK, I know you're busy, it was just a thought. Pretty cool thing with Sierra Trading Post too, I'll have to check that out.

Carol, I love the barn wood background! It looks great. And, I like the fact that you can make a little if I shop at STP and, I do that fairly often. Great idea.

Love the new look - barn boards on the side, and 2 tone beige/pink are good on the eyes. I agree, a seasonal photo would be great...and a maybe a smaller picture or two on the side of your beautiful English Shepherds, or horses!
And I vote yes to the Sierra Trading Post affiliation. It's a great place to shop!

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous! Don't forget the OOPEs and films along the side. Is there anyway to make the print darker. The size works fine for my "older" eyesight, but the color tends to make it bit hard to read. I agree about doing the seasonal header - much like Bush Babe. I really love the simplicity of the new site. Just beautiful.

Beautiful photo, interesting western ranch look with the boards. I too would like a couple of more smaller photos on the sides? And I also definitely need a darker color font, for my older eyes! Thanks, Carol, I always enjoy your photos and stories of your ranch life (you are so creative)!

The new masthead is super, as well as the overall changes on your blog site, such as the subtle stitching on the sides of the text area. I'll be looking at the STP site as well. Nice job!
