OK, so not everyone is on facebook, so I managed a quick video of some of my pics from yesterday’s opening reception at the Cheyenne Depot.
it’s very basic, but you get the idea!
Posting from my iPad is interesting, but I’m figuring it out!
I expect tomorrow’s post will be weather related, as they are predicting two feet of snow in some parts of the state! Yes, we’ve extended our reservations for another night! In fact, if I have to stay in the motel, I can use the library laptop to update this blog with more old entries from the old setup.
I’m halfway wishing it would happen!
For now, enjoy my Wyoming Library Opening Reception video!

You piqued my interest in the beautiful and historic H.H. Richardson
building there in Cheyenne that is now the library. I looked it up on
line and enjoyed my virtual visit. We have a mammoth building by Richard-son here in Buffalo, NY that is now on its way to being restored and re-purposed (it was known as the Buffalo Psychiatric Center and has two gigantic identical towers). Look it up and compare the design!
Thank you carol for the view of the library and the bronze statue. Yes, women had a hugh role in this country.
Glad you are staying over and not go home. I am sure you know how hard to drive in snow storm.Right now at 9:30 pm Friday we are getting a lot of rain. A narrow strip and moving on east. Lot of thunder and lightning. Rain very welcome. Take care all. Sharon Drake south central Kansas. Oct. 4, 2013
Thanks, Carol, for the video! It’s been years since I’ve been in Cheyenne.
