Well, it was back to the Good Ol’ Art Studio Project the other day… I worked a bit with some chinking… some cleaning… some organization… but best of all…
I managed to get some insulation up!
Just about ready for some ceiling osb now…
The tallest side still needs to be insulated, but I may hire some help!
I’m not showing the piles of craft material stacked on the other side, just because I love this clean little part of my studio! Oh, how I long to turn into Tasha Tudor or Beatrix Potter or Jan Brett, and paint and create stories of nature and children! It’s getting closer…

I love the wood stove.
I’m a day late in my comment for this post. LOVE the stove, the old-fashioned tins, and wood box! Won’t it smell great in there when you start to use the stove for some bread or cookies!
What a wonderfully rustic studio space. I am jealous, would love to have a spot like that to get creative in. Keep up the hard work and show us some pictures when you get it how you envision it to be. Awesome job, Carol!
I completely support you in your vision. Stories of nature and children, a wonderful made-by-you studio. Yes!

Did you decorate the buffalo skull?
Ok, what’s with the mattress? Are you planning a little snoozing between creations? lol!
