Whoops. Forgot about those chick pics… let’s do the latest craft instead.
I’ve been playing with copper wire.
You’ve seen the heart before. Now I’ve added two feathers to the collection. The first one was two toned, and I didn’t like it because of the looseness of the wraps. My second feather doesn’t have any angle to it. Hey, someday I will figure this out!
While I took notes from those of you who sent me techniques of oxidation (and a BIG THANK YOU, by the way!), I just went with Liver of Sulphur. A few drops in warm water and within minutes…
I took a bit of the oxidation off… ta-da! Whattya think?
I love ’em. There’s lots to learn with this, but I’m liking the process. Maybe someday I’ll have to have a give away! Anyone interested?
Find me here!
“Anyone interested?” Are you KIDDING?!? Those are masterpieces! I love Love LOVE the heart! I cannot get over how talented, inspired and creative you are. You just sat yourself down and made those! Gorgeous.
Well, I watched some videos and read some metal working sites and THEN I sat down! Try it… you might love it!
Oh, golly theses are so beautiful! You tempt me, you tempt me!!
I like them all, but I love the copper heart. Bless YOUR heart for being so talented.
love the heart and the colors are great.
Yes, either color is nice. If I were to choose one, I’d probably like the
bright copper. You have such great creativity!
The two toned feather is pretty cool. They’re all pretty and I can’t decide if I like the fresh copper, or the oxidized better.
You are a very gifted lady Carol. I love the heart and feathers.
Those are really pretty and unique… keep making them and take orders… either color is nice….
