June 20th. It used to be THE DAY.
DON’T PLAN ANYTHING, DON’T GO ANYWHERE.
Cattle need to be off the BLM ground and we used to gather for days and days. Now, we’ve changed things up a bit, pulling our cows and calves off early to put them with particular bulls in different spots. However, we leave our yearling steers out there to eat and get “fat”. But today, we rode to bring them in.
Sunrise found me climbing the Big Grey Ridge.
And dropping down the other side… a very faint moonset.
The neighbors had gathered their cattle…
Another hot day finished!

Neat!
What a great start to your day. A beautiful sunrise and a moon set. Thank you Mother Nature.
