Beautiful elk and snow! Your photo caught one elk jumping the fence in your last photo! So Cool! I love seeing their tracks going up the hill in the snow in the last photo too.
I grew up on deer and elk and antelope and whatever else Daddy could put in our freezer… though now it’s just pretty much beef! So I will agree with you that elk make good steaks!
Wow! such wonderful photos! You always seem to be in the right place at the right time with your camera.
Luck. If I’m driving, prepare to stop often. Otherwise, I just sit there and think of all the pretty shots I’m missing!
Glorious photos! So many thanks to you for sharing them! Simply stunning!
Thank you!
An amazing site on your drive along the highway. Much more interesting than loads of cars and trucks.
Yes, I’m very lucky that this is my traffic!
What a great picture with the elk jumping the fence. The other
picture with the river, is that Ten Sleep creek or the Norwood ?
Nowood.

Nice! I keep hoping to see them here, but haven’t yet. The one up top as your banner jumped out at me right away.
Thnx for the pix Carol. I am Every So Jealous of where you live… Won’t make the snide comment about how much I like elk: Roast & Steak…
