Well, I’m down in Laramie attending a library training covering the summer reading program theme of “A Universe of Stories”. This year is actually the 50th anniversary of the moon landing! Yeah, I know… that went by fast! 😉
Anyway, the State Library was nice enough to bring up some people from Boulder, Colorado who work in conjunction with the Space Science Institute and StarNet Libraries and NASA, of course. We’re having a grand time learning activities we can replay at our own libraries…
I doodled around on my name tag… and a friend requested I fancy hers up. I drew her an alien and comet!
Are we having fun?
Yes! But it got better!
It just so happened that the Wyoming Cowgirls were playing Pepperdine in the third round of the WNIT playoffs tonight! Why miss a chance to watch that? So, I didn’t!
They won 61-60!
They’re off to play Arizona in the semifinals! Way to go, Cowgirls!
Find me here!
Your friend knows that you’re a talented artist. What you call doodling, I call art work. I love what you did with both of those name tags; they’re imaginative and well-executed.
Thanks!
Sounds like a wonderful time. Can’t believe it’s 50 years since the moon landing.
Me, either!
