Have you ever seen people just stop in the middle of the road… like they own the whole world or something??? Then everyone has to go *around* them… isn’t it sooooo irritating?
Well, that was us.
Three semi loads of yearling heifers stopped on the county road and a loading chute pulled up by a pickup… just like we owned the place! Well, traffic was extremely light, so it’s not too much of an inconvenience for anyone else!
We unloaded our horses… and the truckers backed up to the chute and began turning them loose.
We held them there until all three trucks were empty… then through the gate and across to our leased pasture. Thunder rolled and the temperature dropped to 58 degrees… a cold wind blew through the hail in the cloud and blasted us with a wind that felt like it was 40 degrees! My sweatshirt was barely cutting it as warmth… but one of the truckers felt sorry for me, and loaned me his slicker which wasn’t needed for rain, but it sure cut the wind!
Across the open mountain top, then down through the trees…
The heifers were thrilled to stop on the far side of the trees… not many places in the world have a better view, or better grass!

I think ALL your landscape views are wonderful! 🙂
Thanks.
1. I thought that that’s what country roads are for!
2. I never thought I’d ever envy *cows*… 😉
Right! I agree with both statements!
Fry or freeze. Good ole Wyoming weather! (The pictures are beautiful!)
what an awesome world you all live in!
