New Home

Posted on July 19, 2019July 19, 2019

Twenty eight deer, three elk, and, thankfully, no moose!

That was our tally driving home over the mountain last night. Needless to say, my friend drove slowly over the tree lined, winding road. The full moon had wildlife out eating along the roadside.

We had been to the HF Bar Ranch by Buffalo, Wyoming for a special party.

Longmire Days is kicking off this weekend and because of this little guy, we were invited to deliver him to the festivities.

There were famous people there…

We were just happy to see old friends and watch the crowd. We also enjoyed investigating the HF Bar… we’ve never really checked out dude ranches, I mean, why would we? I took way more photos of the buildings than I did the Longmire actors!

It was quite the relaxing time!

Question: How long does it take to load a wolf in the back of a pickup? A full hour! But he travelled over the mountain in fine shape, and we delivered him in good condition.

He’s off to his new home…

Glad the wolf travelled ok on those winding roads. I checked out the Dude ranch on the Internet. Looks a Wonderful place to visit.
