Although we worked cows today, I think I’ll finish the last of the long videos about this place, and give myself some time to sort through photos and videos.
You’ll probably enjoy this video as I take you to my favorite spot, then introduce you to someone, and, maybe… see a ghost!

I do have a contest going on right now as well.
Here are the rules:
- You MUST either follow/like Red Dirt In My Soul on Facebook, subscribe to Red Dirt In My Soul videos on YouTube, or follow Red Dirt In My Soul on Instagram. That’s a possibility for three entries.
- You MUST tag ONE friend on one of the social media sites so they can come find me. That’s another entry.
- You MUST comment below and tell me what you did. If you’re already a follower, great! Just tell me and I’ll still count it. Your comment below makes for another entry.
You can have FIVE chances to win a calendar. Some people might have three or four. That’s still pretty good. If you miss one of the three requirements above, your entries will be disqualified.
Contest ends on January 31st, 2020 at midnight, Mountain Time.
Find me here!
I’m a few days late in replying about the longer videos. I have really enjoyed them, and think that any length is fine! Always interesting commentary, too.
Thank you Carol. Enjoy your blog so much! And I have learned so much!
Thanks Carol for all the time you take to share your life in the West!
I am not a social media person but enjoy and have suggested to others to follow your blog…. this is the most I have ever done by commenting on your blog I have just entered a new decade this month. As a baby of 1960! My husband says welcome to the 21 st century just got my first smart phone haha!
yup, she’s telling you “build me a fence!” I can’t wait forever!
Could be…
First, you eyes are SO pretty! Thank you for sharing that beautiful spot on your land with us.
I think that Annis would be pleased to be buried in such a peaceful spot near the creek. 🙂
Maybe you turned at that moment because you did feel her spirit…despite what you saw that turned out to be pipes. There is so much we don’t know about angels and spirits…maybe she was even watching over you that day! I think that putting a pretty little fence around her grave would be a great way to honor her. The floral headstone is beautiful. Great story!
I may have a lead on some fence… I’m excited! And thank you for the compliment!
