Like yesterday’s post about the Festival of Trees entry, today our entry for this year’s festival was set up. This cute little tree shaped chair boasts white lights on the back, Santa ornaments edge the tree chair, with Santa’s hat and cowboy boots nearby. “Snowy days and warm hearts” is a sign on the front….

Coming Up
We’re happy to announce our Open House/Silent Auction is a GO for this year! We’ve had to cancel many of our library fundraisers, but we’re going ahead with this one! Always a popular Christmas party to attend, with items of all kinds to bid on and support the Friends of the Ten Sleep Library. Plus…
Fancy Day
Busy day for certain people beginning with a tea party at the library… We were treated to cucumber sandwiches, Nutella and raspberry sandwiches, and tomato/cheese/watercress sandwiches. Plus cookies and meringues. Oh, and tea! We then did a craft and worked on a puzzle… it was a good time! Later, we celebrated Lorelei’s seventh birthday! I…
Pysanky Class
I taught a pysanky class at the Ten Sleep Library last night, came home and went to bed… laid there and thought, “I didn’t blog!”. I was too tired, so here I am this morning. A live video can be found on the Ten Sleep Library Facebook page if you’re so inclined.
Worland Library Christmas
The weather has been holding and we’ve had some nice days, the sun is still strong and if the wind stays still, it can be quite pleasant. The guys are going in different directions… checking the pipeline for the cows, graveling some large stretches of road, paperwork, and designing some new pens and more corral…
Ten Sleep Library, The Greet’s Branding video
Made another video for the Ten Sleep Library today. Follow the Ten Sleep Branch Library on Facebook if you’re a Facebooker! This one is pretty special. We put out the call for unpublished children’s stories… ones that might relate to ranch life or Wyoming, something special and unique we could read online. Authors could be…
Ten Talks
While the Ten Sleep Library is currently on hiatus, like many other places… we wanted to keep in touch with our patrons. For the older folks we’ve been promoting our free audiobooks, ebooks, and magazines. Plus the amazing databases on genealogy, history, Wyoming newspapers, auto repair, practice tests for school and professional exams… the list…
Few Ideas
So sorry about last night… I was ready to blog… late at night, as usual… and my internet went out. Or down. Or wherever internet type things go when they’re not *there*. I tried. I gave it half an hour… I went to bed! So… A couple of my days lately have been spent touring….
Library Fun
Cookies. Wassail. Meats and cheeses. Veggies. More cookies. A fireplace on the wall. Live harp music. Friends and neighbors having fun with some competitive bidding… Another great night of fundraising for the Friends of the Library. Yay for Ten Sleep! You rock!
Foxy
With posting here and on Facebook and Instagram… somehow, I missed sharing what’s been keeping me busy crafting. For those of you who do follow me on those other places… here’s a bit of a repeat. The Friends of the Library always enter a wreath in the Festival of Trees. Our original idea of making…
Wolf Returns
Remember the 4th of July Parade? When my friend, KJ, and I built this float for one of our favorite local authors? We made a big ol’ wolf coming out of his most recent book since it *is* called Land of Wolves. Plus, we had fun adding “library stuff” to the book like a backtag…
