Mountain Trail

Posted on July 21, 2009January 1, 2015
I need to put off my other Kids’ Rodeo pictures for a bit and share the ones from yesterday.
My sister was official photographer…
The focus (pun intended) of her pictures is a bit different from mine…
First, she takes more photos of people…
mttr1
(Like me visiting with my mother as we take a break)
mttr2
(Or Victoria and Jazz moving things along…)
And many many many less of dogs…
mttr3
(Squint and you can see Elsa and Dally at the back near Victoria)
I had to tell her to take closeups of Dally and Elsa, knowing their bog sodden faces wouldn’t last long on their English Shepherd coats…
mttr4
(They are actually waiting for their EnergyEdge dog bones to replace their carbs lost working hard!  I bought them for Lucas, but he refuses to eat them!)
She likes trees… especially ones growing out of rocks…
mttr5
(Two for one here…)
mttr6
(Amazing isn’t it?)
She gives new perspective to our mountain trail…
I have more…
But you’ll have to come back later!!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
