Photoshop Playday

Posted on September 12, 2009January 5, 2015

Though I had a productive morning on my new little project at the Mills Place…

I got caught up in cheering for the Wyoming Cowboys playing the Texas Longhorns…
dang if little bitty University of Wyoming didn’t look respectable for the first half!
We even led by four points for a few minutes!
But football wasted away the afternoon…
so I took the poor second half to produce some artsy photos for you!
Udub lost… U win!
sheepwagon
I took this original photo late Monday as the light was fading and thunderstorms were rolling into the Big Horn Mountains.
The sheepwagon is abandoned…
Its front door is gone…
you’re actually looking through the doorway and out the back window…
This is close to where 6 sheep were killed by wolves last Sunday morning…
<sigh>
Let’s play!
A little sepia tone…

Black and White…

Colorized…

with a little warmth added…

I like that one!
That was fun…
But I admit…
I had more fun with these…
A trip to our junkpile a few weeks ago let me play with old cars…

This one is my shot… I didn’t change a thing…
But this one…
Yeah…
I played!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
