I introduced you to my friend’s barn a few weeks ago…
I do *love* it…
It is huge compared to ours…
It is red…
I could take photos of it all day long in the changing light…
Ours is smaller…
Ours needs some work…
Ours isn’t red…
But…
Ours is log!
And I love it too!
I love that the birds have easy access to the hayloft…
I love old latches…
I love that we used an old screen door as the entry door to the hayloft…
I love that my gloves can look artistic… while waiting for the second load of bales…
I love that they even look better up close…
I love that the hinges are handmade…
I love that they haven’t ever needed replaced…
I love the axe marks in the wood…
I love that worms created wonderful trails in the logs…
I love the hayloft…
I *really* love the hayloft when the sweet scent of grass hay swirls around the new stack of bales…
and we’re done!
