So Many Photos, So Little Time

Posted on June 3, 2010January 9, 2015

Oh, my.

I can tell I’m going to get FAAAARRRR behind on my photos!
The worst of it is, I don’t have lots of desire to post tonight…
Our crew started out the day by gathering the cows we’ve brought in from the badlands and taking them two miles down the road where we will brand the calves tomorrow.  I started cooking in between setting out signs, kicking a few pairs out of the pasture’s corner, and grabbing a few photos.  I then scrambled around, took some salads down to the other refrigerator, sacked up some assorted cold drinks and ran them to the crew.  Back to the house, folded clothes, and started another dish or two… then back with the pickup and horse trailer to give them a ride home.
The afternoon was dedicated just to cooking… which I did until about 8 tonight.  Then Daniel wanted a hair cut, and dishes needed finished up…
<bigsigh>
This is one more day I’ve wished I had a hot tub to collapse into!
I sincerely hope this makes sense to you, because I’m too tired to rewrite anything!  Again, I’m putting you off of the daily photos except for these…

Tomorrow is branding!
I’ll have so many photos it’ll be slideshow week!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
