Red Dirt Movies

Posted on July 26, 2011January 15, 2015

I think I could make *Monday Movies* all the time.

I find myself filming everything!
I filmed the bulls fighting.
I filmed the puppies.
I filmed moving cattle (again).
I filmed the horses eating!
I believe it’s going to be a sickness.
It’s quick and easy and enjoyable… so here’s my question for you.
“What do *you* want filmed?”
Remember this is supposed to be only about a minute long, so don’t ask me to show you how to tear apart the tractor and put it back together…
(Like I could do that!  But Vernon can, ‘coz I’ve seen him do it!)
Do you want relaxing nature?
Dogs at work?
Wildlife?
Sunrise?
Horses?
Cowboys at work?
Cattle?
“I’ve always wanted to”… sit around a campfire? ride a horse? pitch a tipi? (hold it.  It takes me a long time to pitch my tipi…)
Anyway, throw out your desires… and I’ll see what I can do.
Me and Ron Howard… quality directors of fine motion pictures!
Then we can hold a Monday Movie Film Festival… and do nothing but one minute films!  In which case we may have to rename it the One Minute Film Festival and run it for a week, or a month!
Give me some input, and let’s discover some RED DIRT together!

In the meantime… don’t forget my movies on Vimeo!  Just click on the list of movies in the sidebar and investigate previously posted movies (most of which are much longer than one minute!)

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
