Better Than This

Posted on March 25, 2014

Now THIS is what spring should be like!  What a nice day!  I still wasn’t brave enough to modify the cross combing on my top bar bee hive some more, but I did get a few things cleaned up at my Bee Barn, with Vernon’s strong muscles to help!

I need a coon-proof screen door at the Bee Barn, so I wandered the junk piles looking for something to use!  An old bed spring would be perfect… the door is 6’2″ x 37″… not exactly standard issue!  I’m hoping to let light in, but keep out critters, so every time I saw some grating or something vented, I had my hopes up.  I guess I could weld something…

I did a lot of miscellany today, including driving the Rhino while Brandon, Megan, and Quinlan fed their cows…

The snow was slowly retreating today…

springand a cute cowboy sat next to me…

cowboyI mean, really?  How does it get any better than this???
