It has definitely turned into winter finally. Small storms have been rolling through, dropping an inch or two and blowing the snow around. With the 15th approaching, that’s the deadline for our BLM allotment. We pay to use the grass until then but that’s dependent on weather and whether the grass isn’t covered by snow. It’s been a wonderful winter of open and available grass, but with snow and a deadline, it’s time to come home.
Luckily, the cows are ready as well, knowing if they come in, hay will be provided.
What’s the word of the day?? “Hay”!!!
