Well, that looks MUCH better!
Jaxon and I went up to get a look at the big planes dropping fire retardant. We were disappointed but not really, that it was only helicopters and ground crews at work. The helicopters seemed to be dropping into the canyon on hot spots we couldn’t see. Once in a great while, a tree might flare up, but it looked REALLY good.
I won’t say the fire is out as I’ve seen them flare up and run again. We are, unfortunately, having a 90+ degree day and high and shifting winds. I’m trying to think positively, though. Thanks for your well wishes!
