Good Crew

Posted on September 1, 2025September 1, 2025

Two days of working cows and a night spent on the mountain…

I met the cowboys after they’d gathered the Bayer Creek Pasture.

I rode along for a while…

I have to say, the kids are getting to be great help… Yes, they still goof around and chatter and are, well, kids, but they zoom and chase runback calves and turn the herd and watch things… and it’s a wonderful thing to watch.

Here, Lorelei picked up on my hand motion and zipped over to keep these cows from going further down the creek.

They’re a good crew and I think we will keep them!
