Harvest Dinner

Posted on October 11, 2025October 11, 2025

Not the same ol’ Harvest Dinner… This year, with the new school building and its smaller accommodations and dwindling attendance, we decided to change things up. Instead of the big dinner we normally provided, we went with a spud-tacular baked potato bar, salad, and homemade pie.

Our Friends of the Ten Sleep Library was there in force.

We had our raffle and silent auction…

Cafes, businesses, and churches provided the food. Volunteers from the library, ambulance, and community worked. Ten Sleep FFA helped and cleaned. It’s a good cross section of people!

We’re calling it a success and we will be in tomorrow to do the final cleanup. Thanks, Ten Sleep, for supporting your ambulance and library.

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
