While I went off to work at the library, everyone else went gathering and sorting our heifers. All photos that follow are taken by Megan, since remote photography is not one of my superpowers.

Mornings have been chilly of late, in the 20’s, so there’s usually a frost on the ground.

You can easily see their breath against the rising sun.

After sorting, some were left behind, and others moved to the home place down the highway.

Yes, since there’s fences along the highway, we can get away with using four wheelers.

The Double Crossing always makes for pretty photos…

And the sky here? It’s a beautiful shot!

Across the bridge to graze in those fields for another week or so under those sundog skies… they should be happy girls!
