Delightful

I hope you had a great Christmas. We did. We are very blessed.

Victoria had stayed for a couple of days and in between walks in the unseasonably warm weather, we managed a craft! Yay! I’m always up for making something.

First we went to the creek to gather willows. Short. Straight. And hopefully, green enough to bend.

We’ve never done this before… and just followed a Facebook video that wasn’t extremely clear!

Six matching sticks were tied together at each end. Then another six were alternatively woven in…

Then another six and another.

It got to where we didn’t follow the instructions because our willows were not flexible enough. We were fairly happy with them and I even made a simpler, smaller one.
