Craft

Posted on January 4, 2026January 4, 2026

Victoria and her boys left after lunch… they played until the last minute with Quinlan and Lorelei before Quinlan had to leave for his basketball game. Lorelei stayed behind to eek out the last minutes with the cousins.

When they finally left, I asked Lorelei what we should do… Craft? She asked? So we did. First came a willow snowflake made in the sunshine on this not so January day.

I decided our willow branches were too dry to continue making stars or snowflakes so we moved on. Lorelei has asked before about weaving tshirts, so we investigated to see if I had enough supplies. Sure enough…

Tshirt loops are stretched across the frame. She’s done this before, so off she went!

Remember those potholders you made as a kid? This is the same thing.

It wasn’t long and her rug/seat cover/blanket/whatever is done.

I’ll check to see if Lacee and Reagan are interested in making one too… I may need to clean my closet to supply new tshirt rounds, though!
