Well, it was -15 at my place and colder at Daniel’s, but it was the day we’d planned to work cows… so work cows, we did. At one point, Brandon held his syringe in the exhaust of the side by side to help warm it up. The pour on Daniel was using was in by the heater of the side by side! We were all bundled up… but, as the morning wore on, layers were removed…

The new corral worked okay in sections, but it was actually the first time through for our cows, so they were learning. We have a few ideas to tweak things along the way.
I took a few more photos, but they didn’t take… maybe my fingers were too cold to push the button!
Tessia had sorted the old cows from the young as they came out of the chute, and Vernon and I trailed them up here… Lunch at four o’clock… and the end of a long cold day!
