Festival of Trees

Posted on December 1, 2025December 1, 2025

I went in to the library to finish decorating for our Open House and Silent Auction next Monday. It’s a big and fun party and we try to do it up right. It does take a fair amount of work though!

As I worked, my co-workers were busy creating a wreath to donate to the Festival of Trees. It’s another fundraiser for the Friends of the Library that is due by Friday to be auctioned on Saturday in Worland. My printing was required for their sign. We then continued to work on it throughout most of the day.

It is a gingerbread town floating on drifts of snow. We struggled with lighting. We’re looking for fewer white lights to use and a longer drill bit. It’s going to look amazing when we finally figure out the details! If you’re interested in bidding on it, attend the Festival of Trees this Friday and Saturday.
