Red Dirt In My Soul

Posted on July 30, 2009March 25, 2015

Finally, I managed to get my book illustrated and published with the local print shop.

The “illustrations” are really my photos of the ranch, modified to look like watercolors with Photoshop.
My original idea was to post each individual page, but I decided that I wanted to share my boys’ rendition they gave during our Centennial Celebration instead.

Yes, I did publicly thank Shreve Stockton, author of The Daily Coyote, who encouraged me.
I know her… aren’t you jealous???
C’mon, you know you are… admit it!
I do have copies available… just contact me…

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
