Heavens.
Yesterday we rode and gathered the little Mills pasture.
We started at daylight… which actually isn’t TOO early these days…
As usual, we rode to the “back” of the pasture and “drove” the cattle in to the neighbor’s corrals.
The pond this year almost covers his entryway gate!
We weaned those calves.
Today we vaccinated those calves.
Tomorrow we gather the mountain pasture.
Saturday, we bring them to the mesa pasture.
Somehow along the way, my back is giving me fits… but the four beers I had with my pizza tonight are definitely helping the spasms.
Can I pack beer along tomorrow?
Somehow, I just don’t see that happening…
I think it may be a LONNNNG two days.
