This blog formerly known as h-t-t-p-slashslashblogdotrimrockenglishshepherdsdotcom is now officially, Red Dirt in My Soul dot com! Remember the name debate… how no one seemingly could find me? This blog was wearing camo not collision orange! I finally made the leap, and with the help (finally) of the right guy at GoDaddy… my blog name is changed and perhaps now, I’ll be more memorable. Plus I don’t have to think “e-n-g-l-i-s-h-s-h-e-p-herd” as I type!

It still isn’t “Wyoming Ranch Life” or something as blunt as that, but Red Dirt in My Soul does seem to have a certain memorable tickling whisper to it.

If you don’t think you can remember it, perhaps a refreshing visit to the book of the same name will help!

Also note that the top ad banner from GoDaddy is gone <happy dance>… and in the next few days, I’ll probably add a tad bit of advertising here on the side. I’m definitely NOT going to have it packed full… I still want my photographs to shine! This is a test period, and if you and I hate it, it’ll disappear, but I’d like to see how it goes for a few months. Next is to find the right ads… perhaps Ford/New Holland tractors… Carhartt… Cabela’s… Wrangler… Levi’s… Pepsi… and BEEF! It’s what’s for dinner!

On top of that, I’ve taken the first steps to create an Etsy shop, strangely enough entitled Red Dirt in My Soul! I’ll be posting some of my creations there soon, so you can own some hand braided reins… or photos… or pen and ink creations… or some unique vintage Wyoming items! We’ll see where the Wyoming wind blows my creative urges!

When I’ve posted into Etsy, I’ll put the link on here, so you faithful readers can have a heads up!

I’m sure this is heralding good things to come…
