Western Transformation

Posted on August 7, 2010January 14, 2015

I’ve avoided the heat as of late, if I can, by working on this little project.

Purchased for $5 at a garage sale, two of these wooden handmade lamps caught my eye.

Nice, but kind of blah.
My process?
Deconstruct a wire clothes hanger, bend it, then heat it up over my gas stove…
<Which was kind of stupid… wasn’t I trying to avoid the heat outside???>
I “branded” the lamps…
and turned them into western accessories!
This was the result!

I like ’em!

And while I was at it… my $2 mirror underwent the same transformation!
