Firewood

Posted on August 8, 2010January 15, 2015

A neighbor called last night…

wondered if we could use some firewood.
The logger had left him a good sized pile and if we wanted some we could go get it.
We took him up on the offer and zipped up the mountain to haul it home.
What a deal!
This will be easy to cut and split!
We use the neighbor’s tractor to load it… you can tell it’s not ours because it’s not blue!

You can see the pine beetle creates a blue tinge as it infects and kills the tree… it is very pretty to use in furniture…

Unloading it at home… see the *blue* tractor?
Now we just have to cut it/split it/stack it !
