With tired fingers we grasp.
We try to hold the warmth, the green, the lushness of the world.
Hold.
Hold!
Onward comes the end.
We see it in crisp focus in the nights that fall swifter and longer.
Joy we should take in the harvest
But still I say, “Hold!”
Ah, Summertime…

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
