The walk… refreshing in 8″ of snow… Canada Geese were flushed from the creekbank… and a visitor was spotted high in the cottonwood.
I angled for a closer shot… and tested my zoom.
This, dear Camera Manufacturers, is why I need a great zoom on my little pocket camera! A wing s-t-r-e-t-c-h and chatter and repositioning.
She leaned forward and I thought, yes! she’s gonna fly and this will be a great shot!
In anticipation of launch, I clicked.
I managed to capture a projectile of… uh, gross unmentionable!
I decided not to share.
I hope you appreciate my restraint!
I *WAS* tempted.
It’s just something a great many people have never seen!
But let’s go back to the good shots…
