Awesome, Girls

Posted on March 19, 2012October 20, 2014

Wyoming felt the need to celebrate the spring equinox with a snowstorm, so once again, my world was white!

How quickly we become used to 60 degree weather and the return to the 30’s is a painful one.
It was a wet snow, and our mud that went to dust is now mud again… but with the return of warmth, I bet the grass will attempt to grow.  Real spring may still be a ways away… but who knows?
I taught my pysanky class tonight… six students had a wonderful time with beeswax and dye and I just *had* to share!
I thought they were all very successful!
We all started with the same design, but we all did a different take on it, whether it was size or detail or color.

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
