Excitement x 3

Posted on April 20, 2012April 3, 2015

Wow.

Where was I?

Seems like forevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver that this blog actually WORKED!  But it does, and I’m excited!  Thanks, GoDaddy…

Then my sister… who lives in Texas… was visiting in Billings, Montana, and her truck broke down.  Her son brought her down to me while it was being repaired… Two days later… it was finished and that meant a flying trip to Billings yesterday!

“Flying” being an un-technical term.

Drive four hours.

Get pickup.

Swing by Lowe’s, Shipton’s, and Walmart… and drive four hours home.

Arrive 1 am.

Unload groceries.

Veg.

Fall asleep!

SO *THAT’S* WHY I DIDN’T BLOG LAST NIGHT!

But I think I “left” you back around when I was getting my chickens… so, tonight, I’ll introduce you!

Aren’t they ca-ute?

There’s the black Australorp, the white Americana, the Brown Sex Link, the Cuckoo Marans, and the speckled Americana.

My crew thinks this is weird and exciting and frustrating and confusing.

I’m just excited!

THEN…

I have to show you this, too…

Vernon found this today up in the hills…

Well, he found the whole skeleton, but just brought this home!  Pretty cool.

There’s just all kinds of excitement around here!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
