When a friend called and said he’d just spotted a bear up in a cottonwood… you bet I was in my car and headed over, camera in hand!
He was WAY up in the cottonwood.
Hanging out.
Dozing.
He even tried to lay on his back on his limb at one point!
S. waved at him.
Believe it or not, the bear waved back.
Then it was ON!
I was going to get that on video… and we succeeded to a point, but he never waved back as enthusiastically as he did that first time.
Oh, well…
Mr. Bear was still pretty cool.
